He focused his scientific interests in experimental pancreatic carcinogenesis, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of pancreatic diseases, both benign and malignant. He is Author or coauthor of several articles published in academic journals or book’s chapters. He is member of Editorial board of World Journal of Gastroenterology, World Journal of Gastrointestinal Oncology, World Journal of Surgery, Scientifica,  Journal of Tumor,  International Journal of Endocrine Oncology, International Journal of Case Reports in Medicine (IBIMA Publishing), Austin Journal of Gastroenterology, Archives of Clinical gastroenterology, Journal of Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Journal of Endocrine Disorders, Surgery Research and Practice, and reviewed for over 40 academic journals.
