Since December 22nd,2010 is Assistant Professor in General Surgery at the Department of Surgery, Oncology and Gastroenterology, University of Padova, Italy and works at third Surgical clinic as Surgeon
1999-2010 working at 1st Surgical Clinic, Padua University as Surgeon.
2005-2007 working at “Villa Salus” Hospital, Venice as Surgeon.
2008 March-2009 April working at Venice Public Hospital and Mestre-Venice Public Hospital in the Department of General Surgery as Surgeon.
He has performed more than 4000 open, laparoscopic or endoscopic operations, with particular experience in colo-rectal surgery and operative endoscopy.

Born in Venice, January the 27th , 1974,  Medical Doctor,  Specialized in General Surgery,  European PhD in Surgical Sciences and Technological Applications,  Assistant Professor in General Surgery at Department of Surgery, Oncology and Gastroenterology, University of Padova, Italy since 2010. Member of the National Board of the Italian Society of Surgical Endoscopy.

He has been Research Fellow in 2000 and in 2001 at Birmingham, UK, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Department of Colorectal Surgery and in 2006 and 2007 in Hamburg, DE, Eppendorf Clinical University, Interdisciplinary Endoscopy Department. In November 2015 has performed a Fellowship in Shanghai, China, at Zhonghshan Hospital, Fudan University, Endoscopy Center. 

He is devoted to minimally-invasive surgery and has experience in open, laparoscopic and endoscopic operations, in particular laparoscopic colorectal surgery and operative endoscopy, including mucosectomy, ESD, STER, ERCP, Operative EUS with treatment of pancreatic pseudocysts.  He is teacher of General Surgery at the School of Medicine of Padova University, and of Endoscopic surgery at the School of Specialization of General Surgery in Padova, Italy.

He has published more than 70 indexed papers, including, as first author, papers in Endoscopy, Surgical endoscopy, American journal of Surgery, Colorectal Disease, International Journal of Colorectal Disease, Liver Transplantation, for a total Impact Factor of more than 170.
