
Research Biobank
The Biobank of Padua is a service for the collection, conservation and distribution of human biological samples and associated data, respecting national and international standards.
Active since 1991 in various departments of the Padua University Hospital, it was institutionalized in 2020 to centralize the existing collections.
It has non-profit research purposes and guarantees the quality and reliability of biological samples. Furthermore, it can accept biological samples from third parties upon agreement.
